A new scheme started in Rajasthan

Announced during the Chief Minister’s budget, the scheme aims to provide smartphones with internet access to the female head of the house. This scheme was launched on August 10, 2023.

The scheme aims to benefit girls from classes 9th to 12th and college as well as women from Chiranjeevi families. Eligible women and daughters of Rajasthan will be eligible to apply to get free smartphones and take advantage of this program.

Women will be able to become self-reliant

Getting free phones under this scheme will help girls in online learning and girls coming to school from far away will feel safe with mobile access. This is a completely right decision considering their security. Free internet will be provided with every phone for 3 years.

Widows or single women receiving pensions and female heads of families who have completed 100 days of work under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme can also participate in this scheme.
